Story: In 1974, at Paris Hatters in San Antonio, Ruben Cortez bought a black Stetson 4X beaver gambler hat. He wore it low while dealing cards in smoky border town saloons, where luck and reputation ruled.

People didn’t remember his face—just the hat.

Years later, the cards were gone, but the hat remained, and was passed down to his daughter Cindy, carrying the scent of whiskey, smoke, and winning hands.
