Six years ago, Mother & Son, Arabella and Alain Garcia started this brand to offer a truly unforgettable experience for both Tucson visitors and locals.

 At our custom hat bar, every hat is designed and handcrafted in-house. We steam, shape, cut and custom-size each piece to fit you accordingly. 

The process is more than just picking a hat—it’s a fun and collaborative journey to create something you’ll treasure forever.

Here’s how it works:

First, we measure your head, then it’s all about play. Try on any hat that catches your eye—don’t worry about the fit or shape just yet. Focus on the style and color that resonate with you.

Next, I’ll guide you through the art of hat design. I’ll share insights on how different hat shapes complement various facial structures, recommending styles that work best for you.

Once we’ve found the one, we’ll get creative! 

Together, we’ll select materials and accents that reflect your aesthetic and meet your needs. This is where your vision comes to life, as we collaborate to make it uniquely yours.

When you’re happy with the design, we’ll custom-size it to your head, add the finishing touches, and package it up so you’re ready to hit the town with your one-of-a-kind creation.
